Thank you for visiting this website. Hopefully as you view each painting they will show diversity, power, creativity and this artists talent in color and design.
I wanted to point out a little about this Artist. His name was Fil Mottola, (1915-2008). He really wanted to paint from inspiration but the commercial side of the business did not always permit that. Mottola had spent 12 years at the Walt Disney Studios doing background animation for such movies as: “Sleeping Beauty”, “Lady and the Tramp”, “Peter Pan”, “Sword and the Stone” to mention a few. He owned a gallery in Laguna Beach, California that consumed most of his time. Mottola was so exhausted from the commercialism, that he chose a whole new direction where he could exercise his true “Art Spirit”. The results were abstracts on newspaper.
This private collection has been concealed by the owner and is currently in a vault. I believe it’s time for the art community to see these examples.
